🐛 Reporting Bugs (What To Include)
- HyDiscordRanksX version + Hytale server version.
- HyDiscordX version + LuckPerms version.
- Your
mods/hydiscordranks/config.json(remove/blur the bot token). - Whether the player is linked in
mods/HyDiscordX/links.json. - Relevant server logs around the time of the issue.
- The role ID(s) and group name(s) you are mapping.
🧯 Quick Troubleshooting Checklist
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Roles aren’t syncing | Confirm the player is linked (HyDiscordX), confirm correct GuildId, and verify role IDs are correct. |
| Group not applied | Verify the LuckPerms group name exists and matches exactly. Then run /hydiscordranksx forcesync. |
| Bot won’t connect / token issues | Double-check Discord.BotToken and that the bot is in your server with proper permissions. |
| Changes not taking effect | After editing config, run /hydiscordranksx reload (or restart the server). |
